Class Breeding or Breeding Class

When you think about Chmiel Racing Stables you think about a quiet achiever working hard and not out there to command the limelight but doing what they can for their owners and their horses. Like many others in the training and racing game they are not only horse trainers they also breed and sell stock for others to enjoy.

So what are the some of the breeding credentials coming out from the Chmiel Racing Stables.

In 2016 Chmiel Racing Stables foaled a bay colt by ART MAJOR USA - HONOUR LADY (NZ) (BETTORS DELIGHT USA) that has now started making his mark racing in the country circuits of Australia. Hi name in NZ was ‘Manameisjeff’ (but since being exported to Australia in 2019 is now known as ‘Hi Manameisjeff’) was trained by former top Canterbury Trainer and now a top Australian trainer, Tim Butt who trained and trialled him until he was on-sold to Rodney Coelli.

“Very nice horse. Racing in country NSW through the grades.” Is a recent comment from Tim Butt who started him for 4 trials in 2019 resulting in 3 wins and a 2nd.

Rodney Coelli comments "Hi Manamesjeff is a impressive looking 3yo  gelding with high speed and good stamina.
An outstanding winner at his first 2 starts  and uncharacteristic galloped at a short price favourite at his third  start.
Sent for a short spell now he will be aimed  at the Vicbred series in December."

Hi Manameisjeff is now in the stables of Rodney Coelli and as a 3yo gelding has been started 3 times for 2 first up wins over 1740m, then in the third race while challenging for the lead broke to put him well back in the field. He has a best winning mile rate of 1:55.6MS with earning totalling A$6,890. He is fast making a name for himself and shows good gate speed. He is now owned by: M W Boots, E J Tongs, G W Preston, P Preston.

His dam, Honour Lady, herself a 1 win, 1 place (from 4 starts), is by the champion sire Bettor’s Delight (USA)and apart from Hi Manameisjeff has had 2 filly foals both currently being trained by Terry Chmiel, including Shesheartandsole (16-1-1-3 record for ,938) and Bree Mode (qualified).

Grand-dam Ladona Franco is a Falcon Seelster (USA) unraced daughter who had 7 foals of which 5 were winners.
